A new addition to the Benchmark Latin America publication is MAMG Advogados, a boutique law firm dedicated to dispute resolution, including consulting and litigation, prevention and resolution of administrative, and judicial and arbitral disputes. The firm was founded in 2021 after seasoned litigators departed from their previous firms to launch this hub of 47 professionals, including nine partners. The team is recognized for its strength in arbitration matters.
Litigation star Rafael Alves is part of the lead counsel team representing Soluções Ambientais de Guarulhos in an arbitration against the city of Guarulhos, Brazil regarding a concession agreement for the sewage system of the city. Newly added stars Paulo Macedo Garcia Neto and Mariana Capela Lombardi Moreto represent the Construtora Jurema in an arbitration before the ICC Brazil against a member of the Brazilian Direct Public Administration for the state of Bahia.
