tothe integrity of the law firm.” The pair successfully appealed a trial decision at the BC Court of Appeal in a defamation case which focused on the significant legal issues of when it is appropriate for a trial judge to draw adverse inferences and to take judicial notice. Ridgedale also provided lead counsel to IG Image Group, a company that sells branded promotional products, as well as
several personal defendants in employment-related claims brought by a sales representative of Image Group following a client transfer dispute between the plaintiff and the two individual
defendants. The case was decided in Ridgedale’s client’s favor, with reasons provided in
February 2020.
