In a recent highlight, the firm was instructed by Cipla for its defence in a suit for patent infringement against Vifor. The matter was extensively argued on the patentability and infringement of a product by process patent. The court held in favour of the client and refused to grant an interim injunction, stating that the process of the client did not infringe Vifor’s patent.
