Evan Rankin is a Partner in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group at Singleton Urquhart Reynolds Vogel LLP. He regularly acts for lawyers, directors, officers, and their companies in professional liability claims and shareholder disputes.
A thorough, tough, and responsive litigator, Evan has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, as well as before the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Securities Commission.
As an experienced freedom of expression advocate, Evan has worked on human rights claims in both domestic and international forums.
Before joining the firm, Evan articled at the Enforcement Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission, giving him special insight into a complex and growing area of litigation. He has since advised clients on the potential impact of securities laws to their businesses.
