Jianbo Pan

Jianbo Pan graduated from Fudan University with master degree in law.

Mr. Pan joined Jingtian & Gongcheng in 2017 and was approved to be a partner by the firm. Prior to this, he worked 9 years with HHP Attorneys-At-Law as a partner.

Mr. Pan specializes in dispute resolution.

In the area of dispute resolution, Mr. Pan has represented his clients in many cases heard by courts and arbitration institutions all around China including the Supreme People’s Court, especially in the areas of finance, corporate, PE, IP protection, construction, etc. His insight to court and arbitration proceedings enables him to help his clients with the most effective strategies procedurally and substantively. Mr. Pan obtained satisfying results for his clients in several commercial lawsuits involving hundreds of millions of funds.

Mr. Pan also has extensive experience in risk control and business negotiation regarding business contracts. With sufficient knowledge regarding the risk of different kinds of litigations, he is able to provide his clients with forward-looking counseling. He also serves as legal counsel for a number of well-known Chinese companies as well as multinational companies.

Mr. Pan was admitted to PRC bar in 2007, and he is a member of the Shanghai Lawyers Association.

• Provided legal services on behalf of a real estate group in Yunnan in a series of corporate invoice cases involving an amount of RMB 100 million
• Represented a trust company in Shanghai in handling a lawsuit brought by the company's third-party creditor on the grounds that the shareholder's capital contribution was false, involving an amount of hundreds of millions of yuan.
• Represented a trust company in Sichuan in providing legal services on a case involving the realization of security rights after a breach of contract by a counterparty in an equity transfer rights transfer trust project, involving an amount of hundreds of millions of yuan
• Provided legal services on behalf of investors in a case involving the forced liquidation of an umbrella trust project of a trust company in Zhejiang, involving an amount of tens of millions of yuan
• Represented a domestic company in a trade secret dispute with the world's largest manufacturer of phenolic resin for tires and obtained a winning outcome.
• Represented a client in filing the first case in the city in which an effective judgment was revoked by a third party after the revision of the Civil Procedure Law.
• Represented Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in providing legal services on its sales contract with an Italian company
