Rafles is the Managing Partner at Siregar Setiawan Manalu Partnership (SSMP). He is well-versed in Restructuring and Insolvency, Labour and Employment Litigation, and Commercial Litigation, with having more than 15 years of experience.
He frequently undertakes the roles of court-appointed administrator and receiver in the course of his insolvency and restructuring practices. An array of insolvency cases had also been under his oversight as a liquidator.
Rafles is admitted to practice before all Indonesian courts and possesses a license as a receiver and administrator from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia. He currently serves as the Secretary-General for the Indonesian Receivers and Administrators Association (AKPI). In his role as a Managing Partner of SSMP, Rafles has effectively overseen and managed over 50 associates, 14 of whom are In-house Receivers and Administrators.
Throughout 2023, Rafles has received recognition as the Litigation Star for Insolvency by the Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific Awards 2023, as the Notable Practitioner 2023 by the IFLR1000, and as one of Indonesia's Future Legal Leaders 2023 by the Asian Business Law Journal.
