Lawyer Yan Mingcheng worked in the Economic Crime Investigation Bureau of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau from 2004 to 2013, and was mainly responsible for investigating economic and financial crime cases. Lawyer Yan resigned from the public office in 2013 to work as a lawyer. He is good at and focuses on dispute resolution and enforcement in finance, securities, trust and other fields. He has rich experience in dispute resolution in the fields of corporate equity, securities investment, trust, bonds and loans.

• Represented China Resources First Washington Power Co., Ltd. in its arbitration case of a dispute over a Sino-foreign joint venture contract at the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, involving approximately RMB 300 million
• Represented COFCO Futures Co., Ltd. in its bond pledge agreement dispute arbitration before the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, involving more than RMB 400 million
• Represented Win Win International Strategic Investment Funds SPC, a subsidiary of Zhongtai Financial International Co., Ltd., in a dispute over its guarantee contract, involving about RMB 250 million
• Represented CITIC Capital (Shenzhen) Asset Management Co., Ltd. (as the executive partner of Shenzhen Zhongruitaixin No. 3 Investment Partnership (Limited Partnership)) in its dispute arbitration case before the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, involving about 1 billion yuan Yuan Renminbi
• Represented Cheer Hope Holdings Limited, a subsidiary of CCB International (Holdings) Co., Ltd., in its dispute over a guarantee contract involving more than US$100 million
