Sigrid McCawley is a Managing Partner at Boies Schiller Flexner, where she plays a key role in overseeing the firm’s legal work across various practices.

Her litigation prowess has garnered national recognition, including, most recently, being named a Top 250 Women in Litigation by Benchmark Litigation; a Top 200 Lawyer by Forbes; one of the 10 Most Empowering Women Leaders in 2023 by Inc. Magazine; and a Leading Lawyer in America by Lawdragon (2020-2024). Her work has been prominently featured in major media outlets, including Netflix, Lifetime, 60 Minutes, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, Fox, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.

With over 20 years of experience, Sigrid has been a formidable advocate in some of the most complex commercial litigation cases both in the U.S. and internationally. Her successes include winning a multimillion-dollar international arbitration and securing a $100 million victory in the landmark Halliburton Co. v. Erica P. John Fund case before the U.S. Supreme Court—twice.

Sigrid has also been at the forefront of the legal battle against sex predator Jeffrey Epstein and his associates. Her pro bono work was instrumental in the arrests of Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Jean-Luc Brunel, and she has successfully resolved claims for numerous victims. Most recently, she helped secure a $365 million settlement in a class action lawsuit against two major financial institutions on behalf of Epstein’s victims. Sigrid continues her pro bono advocacy, currently representing a group of ballerinas who have brought sex trafficking claims.

Dedicated to public service, Sigrid serves on the Board of Directors for both Jack & Jill and the Community Foundation of Broward.
