Xing Wan is a partner in DaHui Lawyers’ litigation and arbitration practice team in the Firm’s Beijing office. He has more than 20 years of dispute resolution experience, and since 2022, he has been recognized by Chambers and Partners as a leading lawyer in Dispute Resolution in China in the fields of dispute resolution (litigation) and securities litigation.
Over his extensive career, Xing has represented many MNCs and large domestic enterprises in complex commercial litigation and arbitration cases. Xing and his team are particularly adept at handling complex commercial disputes. Many of his cases were won in the second instance or retrial in various high-level courts such as the Supreme People’s Court, Beijing High People’s Court, Shaanxi High People’s Court, Liaoning High People’s Court, Guangdong High People’s Court, Henan High People’s Court, Hainan High People’s Court, and Inner Mongolia High People’s Court.
Many of Xing’s winning cases were discussed and decided by the court review committee, including disputes involving equity transfers, listed company mergers and acquisitions, equity repurchases, construction projects, mining rights, land disputes, and more.
In the field of investment, finance, and asset management dispute resolution, Xing has handled disputes related to equity acquisitions, contracts, asset management plans, investor suitability, repurchases, hard redemption disputes, listed company guarantees, over-the-counter derivatives, loans and guarantees, and more, totaling over RMB 10 billion in dispute. Xing’s clients return to him time and time again for his professionalism, deep knowledge, smooth communication skills, and his ability to deliver wins.
Xing Wan graduated with an LL.M. from the SMU Dedman School of Law, an LL.M from Peking University, and a Bachelor of Laws degree from China University of Political Science and Law.
