Craig Chiasson is a Vancouver‑based partner at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP with extensive experience as both counsel and arbitrator in international and domestic commercial arbitration. His practice focuses on complex commercial, construction and energy disputes, as well as investment treaty arbitration. Craig has appeared as counsel in arbitrations conducted under the ICC, UNCITRAL, ICSID, SCC, HKIAC, LCIA, ICDR, VanIAC and ad hoc rules, and before the British Columbia courts and the Supreme Court of Canada. In addition to acting as counsel, he regularly serves as a sole arbitrator, tribunal chair and party‑appointed arbitrator in both domestic and international proceedings across a wide range of industries.

Craig was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2002. He is the current Chair of the ICC Canada Arbitration Committee and a leading figure in the Canadian and international arbitration community. His professional involvement also includes service on arbitration panels and frequent engagement with arbitral institutions in Canada and internationally. Craig is the recipient of the 2022 Excellence in Arbitration Award from the Vancouver International Arbitration Centre and was named in BC500 (2023), recognizing influential business leaders in British Columbia.
