Marie-Noël Rochon practises civil and commercial litigation, with a focus on securities, financial services, and corporate governance. She advises and represents clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters, including regulatory investigations, civil liability claims, and compliance-related issues. She is frequently retained by securities advisors, brokers, and dealers, and appears before courts, specialized tribunals, and regulatory and disciplinary bodies.

Marie-Noël is also sought after for her expertise in governance and compliance. She holds the Certified Ethics and Compliance (CEC) designation and regularly advises boards of directors and senior management on risk management, internal policies, and regulatory obligations. She represents directors in matters involving oppression remedies and liability claims, and advises both public bodies and bidders in disputes relating to public procurement and tendering processes.

Recognized for her practical and strategic approach, she is often consulted at an early stage to help clients navigate evolving regulatory frameworks and mitigate risk.

Marie-Noël is a frequent speaker and author on securities and governance matters. She has been recognized as a “Litigation Future Star” by Benchmark Litigation since 2019 and named to its “40 & Under Hot List” since 2020.

She is actively involved in promoting diversity and inclusion within the profession and co-chairs the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
