The firm welcomed Ali Ramadan as a partner in its technology and life sciences group in London. Ramadan, who was previously with Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe, specialises in transactions in the technology, fintech and digital media industries. The news follows the hire of Taylor Wessing lawyers Malcolm Bates, David Mardle, Tim Worden and Adrian Rainey in June 2019, and Andrew Davis in January 2019. Bates and Worden are based in Cambridge. Last year the firm hired Sophie McGrath from Brown Rudnick. This indeed shows that the firm now has a strong team in the UK for transactions in the technology and life sciences industries.
