Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan has hired a new partner for it competition and antitrust team in London.
Elaine Whiteford joins Quin Emmanuel's competition and antitrust team from Covington & Burlington.
Whiteford was a partner at Covington for two years and prior to that she was a partner at King & Wood Mallesons for three years.
Whiteford has experience in commercial litigation and a focus on competition law. She has worked with the UK and European Courts and the European Commission and Competition Markets Authority.
Whiteford’s arrival to Quinn Emanuel now means the firm has four partners in its competition practice.
