Ahlawat & Associates is a full-service firm that was established in 1978. Since its founding, the firm has been primarily a litigation practice. It is one of the few law firms in India that has represented its clients across all 11 benches of the National Company Law Tribunals and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal. The firm recently represented NER-II Transmission as the respondent in a case against Tata Project, which filed the suit for invoking a bank guarantee that was utilised during the defect liability period. The team was also engaged by a UK-based recycling company in a suit to recover amounts taken fraudulently by the defendant during a commercial transaction.
