Bih Li & Lee was founded in 1992 by a team of senior practitioners from Allen & Gledhill. Founder Justice Woo Bih Li left the firm to join the Supreme Court and is now a judge of the appellate division – and was appointed president of the appellate division of the High Court in late 2022. The dispute resolution team deftly handles matters across the insolvency, arbitration, private client, IP, TMT, and family and matrimonial spaces. The key partners are Darrell Low, Liansheng Wang and Aileen Chua.
In a recent highlight, the team represented Netlink Management in a claim for damage to property over the course of works done. In another, the team acted for an international commodities fund in relation to its commercial dispute on unpaid loans. A collective rights organisation for music licensing in Singapore has instructed the firm for its copyright infringement claim against one of the largest local internet and cable service providers.
