In one highlight, the firm acted for a confidential client before the NCLAT in an appeal on behalf of the ex-directors of the corporate debtor engaged in the business of construction and civil works, challenging the order of liquidation on the grounds that the said order was passed ex-parte and without exploring the viability of other resolution plans. The appellants had contended that the decision of liquidation was not arrived at unanimously by the committee of creditors. rather by only a majority of financial creditors.
