Mr. Cárdenas has experience in strategic administrative litigation and regulatory matters of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), antitrust, transport, and general administrative litigation, where he has participated in defending multiple companies the last sixteen years on a very diverse fields, such as aeronautical, railway concessionaries, dairy products, retirement funds, oil & gas, construction, sugar production, etcetera.

He is widely recognized for his participation in the most prominent litigation in the last years, for example, Mr. Cárdenas was in lawyer’s team that secured a victory before the Supreme Court on behalf of three companies, which represents the 22% of Mexico sugar production. This is a landmark decision, due this trial represents the declaration of lawfulness of the biding process conducted by the Federal Government of the sale of the principal sugar mills of Mexico.

Another example of strategic litigation was the trials before the Supreme Court regarding the dominance declarations of America Móvil, and Grupo Televisa, which comprised more than a twenty different trials with nationwide relevance.

In his Counsel experience, has participated in regulatory and pre-litigious issues in various matters in the private and public sectors.
