German joined the firm in 2011; he currently is the head of the Litigation Department in the Costa Rican office. German specializes in criminal, particularly white collar crimes, and civil litigation; he also has extensive expertise in anti-corruption practices.
German graduated from the University of Costa Rica and his thesis was recommended for publication. He also has a master’s degree in criminal Sociology by the University of Barcelona.
His experience includes:
- Advisory for the United States Government in several criminal litigations in Costa Rica.
- Representing a private-public company in a multimillionaire administrative litigation.
- Advising various companies in complex tax fraud litigations.
- Advisory and support to a pharmaceutical company on IP litigation and illegal import of medicines.
- Represented several multinational companies in multimillion distributionlitigations.
- Worked with international firm in international arbitration conducted in New York.
