Jenna belongs to a rare breed of patent litigators who have both the courtroom skills and deep scientific knowledge of the technology at the heart of most patent disputes. She represents companies that have developed and own patents to some of the most advanced technologies that are currently in existence, including single-cell sequencing and aerial imagery companies, in patent litigation. Over the past year, Jenna has litigated several matters and was promoted to partner. She navigated the close of fact discovery in a matter before the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah against the aerial imaging company. She also closed expert discovery and began pretrial exchanges in a matter before the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware for a genetic sequencing company. She litigated a Hatch-Waxman case for a company that developed a product for an orphan drug indication.
While majoring in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Cornell University (when only 25% of engineering majors were women), Jenna was President of the Society of Women Engineers, and the Diversity Programs administration named Jenna the Undergraduate Student of the Year. While in law school, Jenna served as a Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. She has clerked for the Honorable Robert W. Schroeder III in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, served as a judicial fellow for the District of Delaware, and interned at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. International Trade Commission, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Jenna has developed a national presence as a role model for women patent lawyers. Jenna leads committees for the Federal Circuit Bar Association (FCBA) and the New York Intellectual Property Law Association (NYIPLA). Jenna was instrumental in leading the FCBA’s first-ever Mock Pitch Program, which pairs younger lawyers to pitch to senior in-house counsel. In recognition of her contributions, Jenna was appointed vice-chair of the FCBA Patent Litigation Committee. Jenna created the organization’s monthly Breakfast Club, an in-person program focused on mid-level and senior associates and aimed to provide mentorship and networking to support career progression. Jenna also serves on the Associate Advisory Council, which is a junior board for the NYIPLA, and was appointed co-chair of the Membership Committee in 2024. She regularly speaks at CLE programs and helps associates and counsel obtain speaking roles. She has presented on issues such as Section 112 in ANDA and BPCIA cases, damages in district court litigation, the Federal Circuit Rules of Practice, the Patent Trademark and Appeal Board, and diversity.
Benchmark Litigation has recognized Jenna on its 40 & Under List for two consecutive years (2024, 2025). In 2025, Lawdragon included her on its list of the 500 Leading Litigators in America. Lawdragon previously included Jenna on its 500 X – Next Gen list (2023, 2024). In 2024, LMG Life Sciences awarded her the U.S. Rising Star – Intellectual Property honor. In May 2024, Jenna received the Volunteer of the Year award from NYIPLA for her contributions to the organization. In September 2023, she received the Rising Star award from the New York Law Journal.
