Kate’s clients include some of the province’s most sophisticated hospitals. In addition to providing day to day strategic advice to c-suites, Kate’s practice includes civil litigation, specializing in complex medical malpractice actions; administrative law with a special focus on physician credentialling issues; and class action defence. Kate also acts as general counsel to hospitals and health sector clients, providing strategic day-to-day advice on risk management and policy issues, and representing them in her capacity as an advocate before tribunals, public inquiries, inquests, and other types of proceedings.
