Hoang is Co-Managing Partner of Reichman Jorgensen Lehman & Feldberg LLP’s New York office. Recognized among Crain’s 2023 “Notable Women in Law,” Khue has more than 20 years of experience representing clients in high-stakes patent infringement and licensing disputes. Benchmark Litigation recognizes Khue as a “Litigation Star,” and Profiles in Diversity Journal named her a 2022 “Woman Worth Watching in STEM.” IAM Patent 1000 also features Khue as one of the nation’s leading patent lawyers, and Lawdragon recognizes Khue among the 500 Leading Litigators in America.
A former semiconductor engineer, Khue infuses her technical background and industry insights with her courtroom skills to effectively guide clients through their most complex intellectual property issues. She works closely with clients and experts to absorb complex technologies and craft effective strategies to protect and enforce their interests. Khue represents companies across a broad range of sectors, including telecommunications, data storage, consumer electronics, and medical devices. Khue also advises clients on intellectual property and privacy issues affecting M&A, private equity, and complex business disputes.
Khue is a member of the New York Intellectual Property Lawyers Association, the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, and ChIPS, a national non-profit organization that advances and connects women in technology, law and policy. In 2018, she received the Legal Aid Society Pro Bono Publico Award, an honor awarded to lawyers and institutions that have demonstrated outstanding commitment to volunteer legal services for the poor and disadvantaged.
Most recently, Khue secured a $673 million award for Kove IO against Amazon Web Services through successful post-trial motions, earning Law360’s “Legal Lions of the Week” honor for the second time in this case. The judgment upheld a $525 million patent infringement verdict and added $148 million in interest. This $525 million verdict was the largest patent victory of 2024 at the time and ranks as the 9th largest in the past decade.
Khue is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, where she earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and the University of California, San Diego, where she was a Powell Fellow and was awarded an M.S. in Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis in semiconductor physics. She received her law degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.
