Lisa acts as national counsel for a number of leading companies, assisting them to manage their litigation and legal matters across Canada. She is regularly retained to represent leading companies as lead national counsel in class actions, complex product liability litigation, and regulatory matters. Lisa has extensive expertise in defence of multijurisdictional class actions and has helped a number of clients to obtain early dismissal or discontinuance of putative class action proceedings across Canada. Lisa also provides proactive advice and representation on regulatory requirements and management and mitigation of litigation and class action risk. She has substantial expertise advising on multijurisdictional product compliance and in supporting manufacturers, importers, distributors, and retailers with investigations, multijurisdictional reporting, recalls and corrective actions, and related class actions.
