Brett Harrison is co-leader of the firm’s Insolvency Litigation Group and is cross-ap-pointed to the Commercial Litigation and Corporate Restructuring Departments. He is also National Marketing Partner for the Advocacy and Employment Group. He has significant expertise in complex corporate commercial litigation and is a member of the Commercial List Users Committee, a joint committee of 20 members of the bar and the bench of the Toronto Commercial List Court. Brett has significant experience acting for financial institutions. Brett is President of the Toronto Lawyers’ Association and President-Elect of the American Counsel Association. He is also an active member of the American Bar Association, where he currently serves in leadership as co-chair of the Professional Development Committee and recently edited a book for the ABA on inter-national discovery. Brett is the editor of the firm’s Cross-Border and Financial Services Litigation Bulletins, and is editing a book on international discovery for the ABA and the Pro Bono Partner for the firm’s Toronto office.
