Nadia is a Partner at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP and the Toronto Regional Group Manager of the Disputes Group - Construction and Commercial Litigation. She represents a wide range of clients, in both English and French, in complex and often high-profile proceedings, including in administrative law, class action, constitutional law and commercial litigation. She has represented clients in both the public and private sector and in a variety of industries, including the Chief Electoral Officer of Canada, the Leaders’ Debate Commissioner, the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the Government of Canada, the House of Commons, sitting judges, Canadian National Railway and Amazon. She regularly appears before all levels of federal and provincial courts including the Federal Court of Appeal, the Federal Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal. She has also appeared numerous times before the Supreme Court of Canada representing clients in appeals and interventions, including for the Federation of Law Societies of Canada, the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada, York University and the Law Society of Ontario. She was most recently Lead Counsel for the Honourable Louise Arbour appointed to carry out a review into the Canadian Armed Forces and Department of National Defence, in response to reports of harassment and sexual misconduct as well as Lead Counsel for the Honourable Thomas Cromwell appointed to carry out a governance review of Hockey Canada.

Nadia is ranked by Benchmark Litigation, Chambers and Best Lawyers. In addition, she was recognized as one of Benchmark Litigation’s Top 100 Women in Litigation, received ‘Litigator of the Year’ at the 2022 Canadian Law Awards, and most recently, awarded the 2023 AJEFO Ordre du mérite. Nadia regularly publishes and speaks on topics in administrative law and appellate advocacy. She is the Director of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Legal Studies, Vice-President of Fédération des associations de juristes d'expression française de common law inc., Secretary of The Advocates’ Society Appellate Advocacy Practice Group, a member of the Ontario Bar Association Official Languages Committee, and Past President of the Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario (AJEFO).
