Shearman & Sterling has hired a former federal prosecutor in Washington DC.
Adam Schwartz joins from Paul Weiss and acts on trials and investigations in areas including white collar crime, congressional, regulatory and internal investigations and litigation related to fraud, securities, commodities, antitrust, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, False Claims Act, AML and sanctions matters.
Before moving into private practice Schwartz was an assistant US attorney in the US Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Virginia and the District of Columbia.
