Brad Hanna is a leader in the firm’s Dispute Resolution, Franchising & Distribution, and International Arbitration Groups. Brad is a talented litigator known for his expertise in handling complex corporate commercial litigation. He has experience in handling disputes relating to franchise & distributorship, intellectual property, licensing, internet, lease and real estate, breaches of non-compete and non-solicitation clauses, breaches of confidentiality agreements, commercial fraud, environmental litigation, and a wide range of other contractual and business relationship disputes. He defends automotive, food, clothing, petroleum and other manufacturers & suppliers against alleged breaches of provincial franchise legislation, including rescission and breach of the duty of good faith and fair dealing claims. Brad is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). He acts as counsel in private and court-annexed mediations, international and domestic commercial arbitrations and in National Automobile Dealer Arbitration Program (NA-DAP) proceedings. In addition to Canadian clients, he routinely represents American and other foreign entities that are parties to disputes before all levels of courts in Canada including the Supreme Court.
