Since his call to the bar in 2006, David Quesnel has developed a specific expertise which led him to represent his clients in important litigation matters such as, or pertaining to, shareholder disputes, request for proposal processes, product liability and lawsuits against the Crown.
In this respect, Mr. Quesnel has successfully pleaded injunction matters with regards to annulation of call for tenders launched by public authorities. He also won, on behalf of his clients, several injunction matters pertaining to shareholders dispute, non-competition and non solicitation clauses in employment matters.
His expertise in exceptional remedies recourse led him to plead major cases with regards to seizure before judgment and Anton Piller orders (civil search). He also acts frequently as independent supervising lawyer named by the Court during the execution of such orders.
Mr. Quesnel is part of the firm’s conflicts committee. His advice is frequently sought by other major law firms facing disqualification applications, and he has over the years argued many such cases on behalf of different law firms.
