Haynes and Boone has hired two new IP litigators in Chicago.
Ralph Gabric and Laura Beth Miller both join the firm from Brinks Gilson & Lione.
Gabric is a patent trial lawyer who has handled trials and appeals before the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and post-grant review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He was chair of the litigation practice at Brinks.
Miller acts on patent matters in the tech sector handling infringement actions in the International Trade Commission and arbitrations related to trade secrets.
Of the two firms Brinks has the strongest rankings in Illinois in Benchmark's sister publication IP STARS and Haynes and Boone will hope to capitalise off the expereince of the new additions.
