Baker McKenzie changed its name in Hungary to Hegymegi-Barakonyi & Fehérváry Baker McKenzie following the appointment of M&A specialist Ákos Fehérváry as its new managing partner. Fehérváry took over from Zoltán Hegymegi-Barakonyi on July 1.

Bryn Aarflot will expand its IP practice with the incorporation of Protector IP in January 2023.
CMS UK announce two senior appointments
Senior patent attorney Sarah Klaczynska joined CMS from GSK Vaccines in August 2022. Senior trade mark attorney Katie Goulding arrived in September 2022 from HGF.
Cuatrecasas and SLCM sign an integration agreement
Cuatrecasas will incorporate SLCM into its business in January 2023. Managing partner Luís Cortes Martins will become a Cuatrecasas partner and board member.

Latham & Watkins announce six IP practitioner promotions
Associates Michelle Ernst, Chris Henry, Britt Lovejoy, and Elana Nightingale Dawson will be promoted to partner in January 2023. Associates Allison Blanco and Gabrielle LaHatte will become counsel. Trade mark lawyer Lindsey Utrata joined the firm’s New York office as counsel in its IP litigation department. Utrata was previously with Baker McKenzie.
Norton Rose Fulbright appoint new leaders
Partner Eagle Robinson was appointed US head of transactions and patent prosecution in November 2022. The news follows the appointment of Tim Kenny as its US co-head of IP and Felicia Boyd as its US head of IP brands.
Durie Tangri to join Morrison Foerster
Califorinia-based IP boutique Durie Tangri has announced that it will join Morrison Foerster on January 1, 2023. According to Morrison Foerster's press release, "thirty-six Durie Tangri lawyers are anticipated to join Morrison Foerster, including 12 partners".
Two Argentinian firms merge
Corporate law firms Bruchou Fernandez Madero & Lombardi and Funes de Rioja & Asociados merged to become Bruchou & Funes de Rioja.

Mayer Brown announce joint venture
Mayer Brown entered a new joint law venture with PK Wong & Nair in Singapore in October 2022. The venture will offer integrated advice on international law and Singapore IP court litigation.
Jones Day Australia appoints new partner in its Melbourne office
Patent star 2022 Richard Hoad joined Jones Day from Clayton Utz in October 2022.
Dentons announce combination with Link Legal in India
Dentons announced a combination with Indian law firm Link Legal in October 2022. Presence in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad will provide integrated domestic and international legal coverage.
IP litigator and associate join Spruson & Ferguson
Litigator and life sciences specialist Katrina Crooks joined Spruson & Ferguson as a principal in November 2022. She was previously with Pearce IP. Associate Elizabeth-Erin Valassakis arrived from Corrs Chambers Westgarth in October 2022.
Wrays welcomes life sciences patent attorney
Grant Shoebridge has joined Wrays as a principle in its life sciences practice, which is led by Todd Shand.
Rosli Dahlan Saravana Partnership hires two IP partners
Bahari Yeow and Lim Zhi Jian joined Rosli Dahlan Saravana Partnership as partners in October 2022. They were previously with Gan Partnership.
